100 Great Patrick Street, BT1 2LU
About 100 GPS
100 Great Patrick Street is a two storey building and was a former industrial warehouse. 100 Great Patrick Street was previously home to John J. Doyle Ltd and VIable Corporate Services.
In 2016, two children’s charities, Voice of Young People in Care (VOYPIC) and Include Youth, acquired the site with plans to turn the former warehouse into youth space. The proposed new centre will have dedicated ground floor space to host the full range of programmes delivered by the two charities, who work with children and young people with lived experience of care.
in July 2017, Voice of Young People in Care submitted a planning application (LA04/2017/1544/F) propoing refurbishment to the existing office & warehouse building, to include new 2 storey front extension, internal layout rearrangements and rear elevation changes. The application also sought change of use from warehouse space to facilitate the mixed community spaces & office space on both floors. This application was approved in December 2017.
The development is funded by a range of government funders, including the Department for Communities (£420,000 provided), Department of Health and Department for the Economy. Additional financial support has been given from Atlantic Philanthropies, The Tudor Trust, Garfield Weston Foundation, Ulster Garden Villages, Whitemountain and Community Finance Ireland.
In January 2022, construction commenced and will be ready to start operations in autumn 2022. 100 GPS opened it's doors in October 2022.

The building enters valuation records in 1908 as two shops, valued at £83 and £110 and 33 offices on the first to fourth floors with valuations from £3.10s to £29. It was reerected from the second floor up, with some details missing, after it was damaged during a Luftwaffe raid in 1941. The building has provided accommodation for a number of companies and organisations including Farrow’s Bank Ltd, the Ulster Teachers’ Union and local offices for the Daily Mail and other newspapers (Street Directories). Since the 1970s the ground floor shops have been occupied by a sports goods retailer (Jackson Sports).

Capital House
Updated 5 months ago
Capital House is an eight-storey commercial office building, originally completed in 1976. The building was historically used as BT’s headquarters, known as Dial House, reflecting its role in Belfast’s post-war commercial expansion. Capital House occupies a prominent corner site at the junction of Upper Queen Street and Wellington Place, immediately west of Donegall Square and close to Belfast City Hall. The site lies within one of the city’s most established commercial districts and forms part of the wider civic and business core of Belfast city centre.
