Bedford House is an 11 storey office development that comprises of 10 floors of office suites, retail units on the ground floor, in-house 9th Floor Gym and Meeting Rooms for Tenants' use, and the Franklin & James coffee shop at mezzanine level. Bedford House was constructed in the 1960's and forms a whole block bounded by Bedford Street, Franklin Street, Franklin Street Place and James Street South. The site was affected significantly during The Troubles with site being affected by bombings around 20 times.

7 Chlorine Gardens is a detached, 2.5-story imperial brick building constructed around 1900. It features two bays—one canted and one square—and a 2.5-story gable-ended rear extension. A detached garage, built with metric red facing brick and concrete roof tiles that do not match the original building, is located along the boundary with No. 5 Chlorine Gardens. The property had been vacant for a considerable period and has experienced neglect and structural damage.
