In October 1998, Mr Andrew Bradley submitted a planning application (Z/1998/0929) proposing the construction of 4 shop/office units, 12 no. apartments and 2 no. studio apartments, car parking and access road. This application was approved in August 2000.


In October 2003, Mr Andrew Bradley submitted a planning application (Z/2003/2453/O) seeking the renewal of planning permission ref. Z/1998/0929/O for proposed construction of 4 shop/office units, 12 no. apartments and 2 no. studio apartments, car parking and access road. This application was withdrawn in November 2004.


In August 2006, Andrew Bradley Properties submitted a planning application (Z/2006/1931/F) proposing a 5 storey, 65 bedroom hotel containing restaurant, bar, conference room and car parking. This application was refused in April 2007.


In March 2007, Andrew Bradley Properties submitted a planning application (Z/2007/0758/F) proposing the development of 4 no.shop units, 17no. apartments and car parking. This application was refused in January 2009.


In March 2010, Mr Andrew Bradley submitted a planning application (Z/2010/0274/F) proposing a development containing four shop units, fourteen apartments and car parking. This application was approved in September 2012.


In August 2019, Andrew Bradley submitted a planning application (LA04/2019/1886/F) proposing the development of 13 residential apartments (one block of 11 no. apartments, one block of 2 no. apartments) with associated amenity space and site works. This application was withdrawn in February 2022.


In December 2023, Lotus Homes (UK) Ltd submitted a planning application (LA04/2024/0025/F) proposing the erection of 14 no. apartments to be delivered as social housing comprising of 11 no. 2 bed apartments and 3 no. 1 bed apartments, 2no. of which are wheelchair accessible to include amenity space, bin storage, bicycle parking provision, pedestrian and vehicular access and 2 no. disabled parking space and all associated ancillary works.
