About 100 GPS

100 Great Patrick Street is a two storey building and was a former industrial warehouse. 100 Great Patrick Street was previously home to John J. Doyle Ltd and VIable Corporate Services.

In 2016, two children’s charities, Voice of Young People in Care (VOYPIC) and Include Youth, acquired the site with plans to turn the former warehouse into youth space. The proposed new centre will have dedicated ground floor space to host the full range of programmes delivered by the two charities, who work with children and young people with lived experience of care.

in July 2017, Voice of Young People in Care submitted a planning application (LA04/2017/1544/F) propoing refurbishment to the existing office & warehouse building, to include new 2 storey front extension, internal layout rearrangements and rear elevation changes. The application also sought change of use from warehouse space to facilitate the mixed community spaces & office space on both floors. This application was approved in December 2017.

The development is funded by a range of government funders, including the Department for Communities (£420,000 provided), Department of Health and Department for the Economy. Additional financial support has been given from Atlantic Philanthropies, The Tudor Trust, Garfield Weston Foundation, Ulster Garden Villages, Whitemountain and Community Finance Ireland.

In January 2022, construction commenced and will be ready to start operations in autumn 2022. 100 GPS opened it's doors in October 2022.
